History

1980
year of establishment; Founding Members Edoardo Rovera, Giovanni Dutto, and Ferruccio Cavallo. Edoardo Rovera decided to set up his own company after gaining extensive vast experience in large mechanical workshops until reaching the role of Technical Director, and involved Dutto and Cavallo who worked as Department Managers in the workshop. The first company was based in Caraglio and covered an area of approximately 300 m2. The name was SCA snc di Dutto Giovanni.
1983
Ferruccio Cavallo left the company for personal reasons and his share was taken over by Rovera and Dutto.
1990
The company moved to its new premises in a new 500 m2 plant at Bernezzo-Fr. San Rocco. Fulvio Rovera, Edoardo’s son, joined the company.
1992
Company change: Giovanni Dutto left the company while still holding the role of Workshop Manager. His share was taken over by Sandra Garnero. The new company name was SCA di Rovera Fulvio & c. snc.
2001
Transformation of the company from a general partnership to a limited partnership. Emanuela Rovera joined the company. The new name was SCA sas di Rovera Edoardo.
2004
Purchase of the first high-speed workstation
2010
The 50 kW photovoltaic plant started operating.
2012
The first 5-axis workstation was purchased
2015
Transformation of the company into a limited liability company and Fulvio Rovera became the sole director
2016
The first wire EDM was put into production
2017
Renewal of the fleet of machines continues, a new grinding machine and a new DMG-Mori workstation were installed
